September 2010 – Ramadan - Africa dictates the pace!

Ramadan has presented a challenge to marinecultures.org operations. It is practically impossible to find divers (local Muslim divers do not dive during Ramadan), so the search for suitable sponges has nearly been suspended. The maintenance of the farm, too, is minimal during this time. Africa dictates the pace!
